Maybe too far away from you but Mike Barrio at Haddo Fishery knows a fair wee bit about float tubing, his website has a dedicated forum for it

would be some where else to look ,if you have a wee while next week have a gossip with Steve Parton who will sell you all you need at fair to great prices .
Just got myself set up to give it a whirl ,some of the wee lochs are in for a visit !

Hi Jock, Minnins and Skaman have said that anyone that fancies a shot of their tubes at the Middleton day out is more than welcome to try theirs just as long as you bring your chesties.

If you are trying it for the first time I would recommend that you gave it a go at Middleton as it is a fairly small water and I will be out in one of the boats and will be able to offer assistance should you have any problems in the water.

Better to be safe than sorry big chap

Hi JS, I have just bought one, it's on it's way as I write.
I was advised by Ameliasdaddy on here to join the BFTA forum which I did and bought a bargain, flippers the lot.
I am away tonight for a couple of weeks hols but as soon as I return I'll be on Ullswater, can't wait.
Google BFTA and join, very easy and lots of good advice on there.
Good luck.

I'm your neck of the woods if you fancy trying out my Gunnerson tube...some very good deals if you speak to these guys direct

http://www.pontoonboats.co.uk/produc...o-gunnison.htm

Managed to haggle this package price down to £87 each for a pair. Recently told someone else who got the same deal including postage!!!

Great tube and prefer the camo to some of the more garish designs out there.
