Default Introduction To Myself

Dont know if this is the right kind of a place for this post or what but i would like to introduce myself a litle bit since im the only one here from Iceland i think and i dont know anyone here . But anyways my name is Brynjar and im from iceland(as you will notice) , 20 years of age . Been fly fishing since i was 5 , caught my first fly fish 6 and my first fly salmon 8 . Ive been a Guide(Ghillie) i think in england for about 2 years now on the local icelandic rivers. My main fisheries are the local waters and rivers and i fish mostly for Sea Trout - Brown Trout - Char and Salmon ofc on Fly . i live in Reykjavik wich is big (yea right 150.000). My main tackle brands are Scierra , Redington Ari T Hart (i own one of there reels wich is a awesome) and Okuma , been a reader of this forum for about a year , never signd up until now , dont know why :s , i love the articles here really intresting to see how much diffrent it is to fish in England - Wales - Scotland then it is in Iceland , whole new learning for me Well just wanted to make a litle post . Feel free to ask me about icelandic Fishing if you would like and btw , was fishing for Sea Trout last weekend , got one 16 p Well good fishing and hope to hear for many of you (excuse my bad typing if theres any ) Best Regards Brynjar

Welcome Brynjar. You'll get plenty of good advice on here. Now about fishing in Iceland, tell us more about it and feel free to post some photos to make us jealous.

Hmm more about thes fishing Iceland , well i was fishing for 32 days this Summer , Caught about 20 Salmons 10 Sea trouts and loads and loads of brownies , also good chars

Biggest one this summer was the 16 Pound sea trout i caught and a 11p Salmon couple of nice 5-7 pound trouts and loads of 1-3 pound chars ( wich are my fav fighters ) so in total was a good summer for me and now the season is closing so i will have to envy you guys

Ohh and btw the biggest one caught so far in iceland is 28 Pounds

about them pics i will have to look into it

Haha No Stevie J i acctually think iceland stinks at football , they do so i just went out drinking with the Scottish lads and there dong showing skirts
