Ok, who's got them? Where are the daddies this year? Has anyone had any sport on daddies . Usually, this time of year, one can't sit on the ride-on without mincing several thousand. I've not seen a daddy yet.

I've been watching the forum stillwater reports, the Rutland Ghillies site too, so far very little to report in the way of daddies.

Farmoor has some spectacular daddy fishing, Mrs Macsas usually bags up on the dry daddy. I've checked my diaries for the last 3 seasons and normally by this time the daddy are on the water.

I've got my dapping gear at the ready, including my latest acquisition, a Shakespeare telescopic 17 ft'er. If you see any, send 'em my way.

I've seen quite a few, and caught on them the other week

i was at abernaunt fishery yersterday alltho there was alot of damsels on the water none of my 3-4 types of damsels took a hit. i got 4 fish alltaken on daddy's and booby the fish where going crazy jumping,feeding off top. i try fishing a few wets like buzzer,damsel nothing worked on the floating or daddy etc worked

daddys have been fishing well at our fishery for a while and has been one of the main flies to work.They started working around may and have been on since then,albeit at times with weather they have been off them but then came back onto them when the weather changed again.Yellow daddies have accounted for some good fish.

It appears a pattern, bad pun, is developing. Northern climes seem to have their falls of daddys, whilst the Southern fisheries, to my knowledge, have few so far.

Been having great fun with daddies for the last month or so,just last week i caught a rainbow after it chased it and had a go at it six times in the same cast,my heart was in my mouth with exitement waiting on the fish to take it down.
