http://www.ogmoreriver.com/clubs/GlynNeath.php

I've not fished it yet but it looks very, very nice indeed - this is a spate river which goes up and down like the provebial "Fiddlers Elbow" - fishing it on your own without fast water experience is potentially dangerous.

If you're under 17 then it looks like £15 and possibly an extra £20 as the joining fee - there seem to be tickets (day/week???) from http://www.fishingglynneath.co.uk/licences.html

Any questions - there seem to be enough phone numbers - a polite phone call can resolve most issues.

If you don't have a "migratory fish" E.A. license - then you have to put salmon and sea trout (sewin) back.

The Ogmore and Neath rivers have a run of sea trout, and this is a good time of year.
There are up to date reports of both these rivers on http://www.seatroutforum.com/index.php
Note you will have to join the forum to access river reports.

Night fishing is best; forget the fishing on your own advice above. I'm sure you will be just fine.
