Scone game fayre Cancelled

Anyone thinking of going to scone this weekend would be advised to check before travelling.

I was informed this evening that due to health and safety it has been closed for saturday due to the torrential rain and conditions and they are not allowing anyone in.Those who were there today are stuck and cant get out.Dont know about sunday but again worth checking.
Its the first time in 32 years it has been cancelled apparently.

Thanks to my pals who let me know and saved me some expense,I owe you a drink next time.

Cheers Scott.Was really looking forward to having a wander round,I feel sorry for all those stallholders who have spent the time and money to set up and I know some will have travelled a fair distance like Cheveron hackles from devon.The cost alone in fuel would have been huge.

They will probably receive some compensation but probably there will be a loss involved to them.

Very sad.

This weather has been so unpredictable this year and can I wish all the very best for what its worth, to those who have been flooded of which some are members here and hope you get back to normal very quickly, .I can understand how your feeling having been flooded out a few years back.It is one big nightmare and worry.

Gutted, my old man was taking my brother and i along to re-live the old days when we were growing up together. Will have to try and convince him to come out fishing instead! Every cloud and all that...
