If you are going near Cushlough just drop into Rod Tye's shop and you'll get all the information you'll need plus some excellent flies.

Default Mask September

Hi Corna
If your coming to Mask September the flies you have will do your job.
You will most likely be fishing for daphnia feeding fish so what I would recomend is to bring a few different lines with you. Sometimes the line can make all the difference. A floater, midge tip , ghost tip , and various intermediate lines should cover you. Also tie up some dry sedge patterens as some of the fish might still be on sedge. PM me if your going to Melvin for the Melvin open and I could meet you and give you some dry sedge patterens.
Hope you enjoy your trip. I will be on Mask then so must try to meet up on an island some day for lunch.
Tight lines
Trout hunter

Hi Wigger
as I mentioned on a previous thread, Rod was out chatting and selling flies at the World Cup last week in Cushlough. Looked a bit gaunt but what would you expect. It was great to see him in action again. He's a tough lad and a stubborn ******. If anyone can beat that ****, Rod can.

That's very good to hear that he's still as active as ever.
