Default River Tamar

Hi there,

I'm hoping to fish on the Tamar this weekend. Does anyone know the best day ticket water to catch sea trout on. I can't night fish so will have to try my luck in the day which has worked fine on some other rivers down that way.

So where can I get a day ticket from??

Cheers,

Robbie

Plenty of beats on the Tamar are available via the Angling 2000 voucher scheme. More details can be found at http://www.angling2000.org.uk/index.htm

I can't give you any advice as to which might produce sea trout (I've only ever fished the Ham Mill beat and then caught only grayling and trout). I do seem to remember the Ottery in particular carrying a lot of colour so if there is rain forecast then I'd guess these rivers will get fairly dirty quickly.
