Default Wye & Usk Etiquette

Put this in viewpoint ealier with no joy, my mistake.

Fishing these two rivers for the first time soon and i have been looking at the Foundation Passport. On the pages relating to the Roving Voucher, most beats state theat you must progress upstream, but on the dayticket beats it makes no mention of this.

What is the correct etiquette? Or is it a case of do as you wish because you have booked the beat for that day.

Regards mick.

Hi Mick
Basically the roving voucher beats are open to other visitors than yourself so the protocol is to move upstream and allow following anglers. On the booking office beats, dependent on the number rods, you could well have exclusive access, so it is really down you.
Best
