Get there early and fish in the top corner were the stream comes in they call it duffers corner.

Its an ok little fishery,had some decent browns out,can get cold and windy up there. Brews are readily available if you ask.

you wasnt kidding when you said it gets cold and windy up there
got to be one of the coldest places ive fished in the uk
managed a couple of nice rainbows on apps buzzers

Glad you caught. Loveclough (Hillside fishery) is very much work in progress.
The lads that run this place have other jobs as well, and have big plans for the future. Still bl**dy cold though.

I fished the original coarse lodges when they were club waters for 20 years and fished the trout lodge on many occasions.

There isn't even a low brick wall between you and Belfast when you are on there. Even with low pegs and a brolly behind Loveclough is probably the coldest place I have ever fished. Very few stuck it out throughout the winter.

The trout lodge is a nie little water with a character all it's own. I must call up for a look see soon.
