Default best line for floating

I'm about to invest in a new DT6F fly line.
Can I have some advice along the following lines:

I mostly fish on lakes. Turning over a long (20ft) leader is important (more than long casts).
Ability to stay floating is also important. A lot of lines I've had in the past tend to sink and drag the flies with them.

Thanks in advance.

Would second Mike Barrio's lines or the Pirates, both are supple, good casting and reasonably priced.

Try the Pirates Lines.

I've had a few now and they brilliant, and very well priced.

Not neccessarily a duff line Fuzzy,A lot will depend on what you are using for leader material. If you are using 20' of fluoro,it'll drag down the best floating line in the world eventually, you cant avoid it.

Seal the end of the line with a small dab of glue, then whip on a fine loop like a Roman Moser. Apply Gink at the last four feet of the line prior to fishing.

Also avoid Flourocarbon at the butt section where it joins the line, as this will drag the line under.

All of the above will help the last few feet of line stay afloat.

As far as lines go, it depends on your budget. Value for Money, Barrio and Pirate lines hard to beat. Also some decent cheaper ones on Ebay.

I've tried a few different brands but keep returning to the cortland 444 peach, i am awaiting one of the pirates intermediate lines any day now as reviews are good + the price.
