Question Leaders

what do u guys do when finished fishing and want to re-use your leader next time?
i usually just wrap it around my fingers and put into a fly box, or sometimes use the plastic/Cardboard disk thingys, just wondering if anyone has a better method?

I've recently just started using these rig winders to store my leaders on,if you don't have flies attached you will need to put a cut slot/cut in them to push the leader into

Tronix - for this great fishing game

I had an unsuccessful go at using the pole rig winders that coarse anglers use but wouldn't recommend this as it was hard getting the kinks out and coincided with a lot of snap offs, now use a leader wallet like here Yorkshire Game Angling Monfilament & leaders (the leader/rig wallet 2/3s of the way down) and it works well. Neils option looks good if you want to keep hooks on as they can tear through the plastic on the one I use.

Cheers, Jon

I use leader wallet (snowbee) but find it terribly fiddly to get the the things in and out of it - so now I'm going to try Tippett spools.

Same as Marazion, just leave it attached to the fly line and put a new tippet on the next time out.
