Default Fishing this week....Central Scotland.

Following on from 'golden grahams' post of fishing in the cold, i've been looking for somewhere to fish this week, in and about the central Scotland area.

Had Markle in mind but its frozen, so does anyone know or recommend a venue, for a few hours that is likely to be open of have visited over the last few days??

Choking to get out for a few hours, reckon may have to phone about each morning....

Let me know any ideas??

Steve

Make your way down to The Newhailey, George works hard to keep his water ice free & you won't be disappointed with the quality of fish.

I was at Swanswater a few days back and it was fine, alright fishing (Not my type of fishing with huge lures) But worth a try

I'll 2nd that Matt, fished it all through the closed season last year with only a slight icing around the caravan bank but the rest was free.
