Default Radio 4 Open Country

Quick blatant plug for those who know me on forum and may be interested.

I am on tomorrow afternoon at 3.00pm thursday 2nd Feb talking about Bronze Age Rivers (3000 yrs ago), dugout canoes, eel trapping and the like.

Pete Carter one of the last Eel fishermen in the Fens is also talking. Not sure how much of my wittering will be edited in.

BBC - BBC Radio 4 Programmes - Open Country, 02/02/2012

No evidence of fly fishing as yet from the excavations.

Best wishes

David

Thanks for the interest and info.

A link with some photos of the excavation and some of the Bronze age logboats and other artefacts found in the river channel.
