Default Do I need help?

I've just done a "audit" of my rods.. I have 21 Fly rods!
One is a bamboo Hardy another is a Spey Salmon rod. That still leaves 19 carbon rods between a 3Wt and a 9Wt.
As far as weight and length go I only have 2 identical pairs.

So my question is, is this usual after 20 plus years of fishing or should I seek professional help! :-)

1 a year. Sounds reasonable to me. If however you have not also acquired individual reels and lines to suit each rod, then there is clearly something amiss with your libido.

You can never have enough rods, reels, and flies. This is an essential part of angling the pleasure of owning such equipment.

On a slightly more serious note is that seeing them all written down and adding in the 10 or so reels plus lines, flies etc I have, you must be looking at over £10K to replace them all with new equivalents.

They are all stored in the house but even so I do wonder whether I should get a separate insurance policy for them?

Most definately...................It is no where near as expensive as you may think. I have mine listed on my house insurance.............as you say 10K is a lot to find to replace them................birdsnest

Martin
If you're wracked with guilt at owning too much tackle I would happy to ease that guilt and take some of the tackle off you. FOC of course.

No

You are a long way off. In the distant past of FFF there was a thread posted on how many rods one oned. If you can find it, it is quite revealing.
