Not been since around end October, but Martin the manager will put you right on arrival.Assume you have not been before?!.First pool is very deep and as with most of the lakes is usually clear. If its very bright i would opt for sink tip or sinker, damsels, cats etc should score. All the pools/lakes have some big fish so don't fish too lightly.Virtually anywhere on that pool will provide fish, can get onto the island which is nice.
Next lake down as with the other one and the long narrow lake are shallower. This lake can fish well along the rear bank and the corners(thats the bank backing onto the long narrow pool)again most lures should get some reaction,I have found white good, but that's just my preferance. The other two lakes i have not fished so much, however i have had fish from along the rear bank of the furthest one and from top end of narrow pool-this can be very weedy however.Have had a 10 plus from the first pool and a year ago had a 12-13 rainbow from the first pool down the hill on white fritz. Some nice browns in all pools and some tigers as well.A lovely setting.

chub 1.
Your advice was pretty much spot on,i managed three fish 2lb.o oz/2lb.2 oz/2lb.4 oz.Two from the deep lake on sinking line and Green black booby and orange Zonker, and one from first lake across road on the booby. It was a cold day and did not see many fish caught,it is a lovely place and the manager did his best to advise me.Will be going back soon, thank you for your advice.
Colin.
