This forum is seeing some liveliness in it's threads and posts of late! Would this sudden surge of possitive posting by the seasoned members be in anticipation of the coming 2012 Trout season? We see this kind of thing each year; as the excitement builds towards another new fishing season.

The cabin fever and winter blues begin to wane; and our thoughts turn to fishing our favourite rivers - streams or even lakes and reservoirs. We get the usual questions ??? What and where; and who with, oh; and what you using? what tackle what flies? are you fishing on opening day? And for those of us who have become so grateful for each and every season that's past, we salute and toast the water with an offering in the form of a small libation! I always look forward to sharing a wee dram with my favourite stream!

And the excitement builds.

well if it wasnt for my bad arm this year there wouldnt be a closed season for me as i would be in india fishing or just fishing for trout on still waters that are still open but im not in a fit casting way at this time so for the first time in my life there,s a close season for me how long i dont know yet bill and his great lengths lol
