with only a couple of weeks to go before my local sea trout and salmon river opens can anyone think of any more tacle i will need apart from the basic stuff.

Just have confidence in whatever method you use. Trust your instincts on the day. If you know your set up matches the conditions then you can relax and enjoy your fishing, the rest is up to the fish.

I will as my old granda says you wont catch fish without any confidence.
