I've been to a few of these and found it's always easy to get along with people as everyone has fly fishing in common.

Off the back of meetups I've had invites to some great spots on the Itchen, Christmas Island, the Test, Ascension Island, Steelhead fishing and private chalkstream syndicates. Also have the chance to take others fishing to Hertfordshire's and Buckinghamshire's chalk streams.
