Hello to everyone on here some may remember as I was seeking fly tying help ( Regards to Ben) - well I am not doing too badly at tying although never really mastered the Dubbing to thread, but main thing is I am enjoying tying regardless of the outcome. Can anyone remind me what DEM Filamants are used for I seem to have forgot that part of it. Jack . . .

Hi Jack,
I think you've pressed the wrong keyboard key(E being next to F) and actually mean DFM Filaments. Daylight Fluorescent Material Filaments.

Seems like they are for extra brightness, like antron dubbing,as one of the trade names is "gantron"

Hi Ben thanks for the reply yes been a bit quiet lately as been fishing a lot mostly though course fishing (donno if I can say them words on here though lol). We are fine thanks and of course feel free to call round anytime your always welcome and always a cuppa on the go, wife and Boycie are fine and thanks for the help you gave me it was great to see someone performing.

You will see something like this top right of screen while on fly forums

where it says private messages in blue click on it and a drop down menu appears with "unread messages" highlighted click on that and they will pop up bit like an email or text on mobile.
