The Opening Day of the 2012 Salmon Season will be celebrated with an opening ceremony on the UCAPA Water.
It will start at the Popinjay Hotel between 9 and 9.30 am where Councillors from both North and South Lanarkshire will say a few words,World Reknowned Spey Caster Peter Anderson will also say a few words, march behind a piper the short distance to Mauldslie Bridge where Peter Anderson will cast the first line of 2012 to mark the opening of the season.


Good to hear that UCAPA have decided to hold an opening day for their ticket holders.
