Broken rods - wanted...

Just wondering if anyone has any broken rods that they have sitting in their cases at the back of the tackle cupboard? Don't throw them out!
At the new year, I decided to have a go at fixing two rods that I broke last year, a great Berkley spinning rod and a lovely #5 9' Ron Thompson (cheap, but a personal favourite). Both were relatively inexpensive but sentimental rods, and I had written them off, but did a fair bit of reading up and set my mind on being able to use them again. Both were clean fractures, rather than damage to larger sections of the rod (e.g. squashed; almost impossible to repair without replacing section).
So, in short, I was very surprised with the results. I used sections of other 'dead' fly rods to fix them, and used an external sleeve on the spinning rod and an internal splint on the #5, so that I could compare methods. Both worked brilliantly, and I would go as far as saying the rods perform easily as good as new (though not quite cosmetically).
I'll get some photos and a mini tutorial up of the repair (I'll add these to the resto section) if you also fancy having a go yourself. But I've now got the bug and am interested in fixing more rods now! If you have an old rod that you are keeping because you don't want to chuck it out, but know that you are never going to use again... drop me a PM. I'd be keen to buy/pay for postage any broken rods you may have. A rare request I should imagine.
