Fished this place a good few years back asked by ex work mates.
Once was enough for me a couple of points
1.very small pool/pond
2.very easy to catch(had to try to drag it out)
3.right next to a very busy A road lot of traffic and noise
You pays your money but it did nothing for me

Cheers Craig

I must confess my sins and i did fish here. it;s a very small lake as pointed out, and not the most tranquil, but, it was a laugh. I don't really count what i landed there amongst my catches as it's not the most difficult ( i had 3 between 17 and 19lb) but i did spend a lot of time stalking a beast of a fish of at least 25lb that was tricky..

The owner is Nigel Jackson who used to own Dever and brought it to 'prominence' but he's not the easiest to get on with, and after the debacle of his 36lb 'record' i'm not sure of his morals, but if you want your string pulled, it's good fun.

I have been thinking about seeing if 5 others on here fancy a day at his other place, Testwood. It's the same as Sutton, but can only be booked as a whole for 6 fishers. same stocking policy, but a much nicer lake i'm told... wouldnt mind trying it as a treat.

Never fished it, but its certainly notorious. £120 for 3 fish, so £40 per fish. It takes the big fish/small pond equation to extremes. Each to their own and all that but I really struggle to see how anyone could get enjoyment from that. Apart from the owner maybe.

BB, just as a one-off, I'd be in if some others are.

Aidan's in too. so we need 3 more! - should be a bit of fun. we'd have the lake to ourselves and could do a lunch/stalking comp?!
