Default Scottish trip

I'm thinking about going up to Durness this summer, hearing that the limestone lochs have gone under new management is it worth going up there or have they been fished out? any news would be welcome because it's a long way for me to go.

We were there 2 yrs ago , The Keoldale sheepstock club has the fishing now, we werent impressed , there doesnt seem to be much in the way of Management , might be worth going to Rispond and talking to Charles Marsham
he has fishing and a boat on Calladail, it will be along time before we go back, Scourie or Rhiconich might be a better bet, easker1

I would suggest base camp further south. The Assynt roving ticket...a steal with lots of water on offer.
Its on the way and you could try Durness on the odd day.
