Default Aquasure question

Quick question, does Aquasure give you a smooth coating on braided loops for use with interchangeable shooting heads, compared to a drop of superglue?

(Thinking of my poor guides and all that friction.)

Regards,
Johan

Yes if you apply it well. It is a more flexible (urethane) adhesive than superglue and immune to water. I use it to strengthen and smoothen leader to fly line connections. Warm it up to flow better (tube in warm water). Remember this stuff air cures and is very strong glue so clean the nozzle well and reseal the tube quickly to delay the inevitable 'going off'. Once the tube is open try to use it within a few months.

An even smoother finish is achieved by MG cs100 ...its very viscous
it's like superglue but soaks into braid apply aerosol reactor sorted in seconds

wont come undone they use it in the pvc fabrication industries totally water proof. One wee bottle lasts for years.
