i am buying a new trout airflo fly rod. i am stuck between the airtec or the 40+. any suggestings? please

I have recently purchased an Airtec or Airlite a marvellous rod indeed.

I think Airflo gets some bad press and, much like Shakespeare, are often disregarded in favour of other brands.

However, you will find that many folk hold Shakespeare rods in high regard and it is the same with Airflo, they have made some brilliant rods indeed.


It is all down to what suits you and your pocket but I love my Airtec/Airlite and use it for sunk line work but it does have a very pleasing action and hope this is the same for the entire range.
