Default Fishery day tickets - Another newbie question from me

Ok, just so I understand this correctly - I’m looking at a local fishery (Manningford, Pewsey) and on the tariff page it says Full Day Fishing Ticket(4 Fish / 8 Hours) @ £35.00

Does that mean you are only allowed to catch 4 fish and then that’s your lot?

Unless you are allowed to do C&R.£35 for 4 fish seems a bit steep unless the fish are of a higher standard weight.Just my opinion though.

Ah maybe this explains it

'Please note fisherman who purchase either a Full Day or Half Day Fishing Ticket on either lakes are welcome to use the Catch & Release lakes at no additional fee once they have caught their quota'

So you can catch 4 fish, (these have to be killed?) and then move on to the catch and release lake for the rest of the day.

Does that make sense?

Yes, that is correct. The C&R lake is a small lake up the path at the far end of the main lake. It can be great fun as there is a long thin streatch that you can pretend is a river!

I think the c&r lake is £20 for day ticket. I think this will be my first outing.
