Default Looking for Trout fishing near Hastings.
I will be heading down to Hastings in next couple of weeks. I am looking for any Stillwater fishing for rainbows. I am taking a friend who is just beginning to pick up the fly rod so a water where their will relative ease in fishing and catching will be appreciated also as near to Hastings as poss as we are using public transport or taxi.

Try Lakedown fishery near Burwash Common. not far from Hastings and it's a lovely fishery in mature grounds

Brick Farm Lakes is not too far from Hastings in Hertsmonceux,not been in awhile but it's a nice smallwater

You could also try Powerdermill Reservoir, home of The Hastings Fly Fishers club up near Sedlescombe.
