Default Hold luggage for transporting fly rods

I know that there are a number of large suitcase-type bags aimed at the travelling angler. Loomis, Orvis, Sage and Snowbee all offer split-bottomed rolling cargo duffels that can accommodate rod tubes of around 35 inches in length, all of which cost over £100. Airflo have recently introduced a competitively-priced rolling cargo bag at around £80.

Experience has taught me that often you can pay less for similar stuff that isn’t aimed specifically at anglers. So, before I splash out, has anyone come across a split-bottomed bag of this size and type at a significant discount to the prices being asked of anglers?

From Argos -Not split-bottomed but vastly roomy. There's an extra large version for a couple of quid more. I've used one for several trips to USA, can accommodate 2 x 4 pce 9' 6" as well as 2 x 8' 6" 3 pce plus waders, boots, vest and the usual clothing etc

Have bought the larger one. Only 2.8 kilos, and 86cm long. BUT I then thought 'cricket bags', often a metre long to accommodate bats, but no weights given per unit. Not badly priced for the size, tho.
