Morning Folks,
One of our members is running a course next month, just thought I'd share with you all. Anyway here's the blurb...
If you are at all interested in fly fishing on rivers then this is ideal for you.
A seminar is to be held at Hassop Hall near Bakewell on Saturday, 4th February.
Headed by Don Stazicker, the day will also include contributions from Stuart Crofts and Steve Yeomans. Although most of the techniques are based on the River Wye, they can be used on any river.
Don is a great river angler and has been a member of Foremark Fly Fishers for many years now. He has given the club talks-often at very short notice, and is one of the most respected anglers in the area.
On to the course, the day will be split into two with the group split for three sessions in the morning when Crofts will give a talk on entomology, Stazicker a talk on setting up tackle for river fishing and Yeomans will be talking on casting on rivers.
After lunch, there will be an interactive session when a DVD will be shown that will show several different scenarios and a ‘how do you approach this situation’ will be discussed at by all three river experts.
The cost is £97 per person and includes a two course lunch and refreshments during the morning and afternoon sessions.
Places have already been booked to make this a goer, so if you are interested please contact 0845 564 2348 or
don@stazicker.co.uk by 14th January at the latest.
Cheers,
Jason
