No sympathy, should be at work like the rest of us!

...check the warranty and try and get it replaced by the manufacturer, as long as you didn't trap it in the car door or anything like I might have possibly accidentally done in the past..or like when my mate stood on my G-Tec, urf

Hahah back on Monday mate, I work down south Monday to Friday so it's nice to have some time up the road! Nah I snapped it on the river, 3 rings from the tip :/ must just have had a wee fault in it. I'm gonna try GAC first see if they will replace as I want to get back out again before work.

Darren.

Well, gac gave me a credit Note back which I spent on a few bits and bobs for the miss us, couldn't see anything for myself. Looks like I'm in the Market for a new rod, trying to look for an odyssey again but the are like unicorn ****, I want to avoid eBay at all costs. May spend some extra and get a Sonik SK3.

By strange coincidence, I have one of them which I bought to replace the Shakespeare car door wreck. 9' 6/7. Great for the price, highly recommended, great knockabout rod for pleasure-angling lakes. If you're on the rivers you might want something a bit faster

The new Shaksepeare Oracle 2 rods are touted as excellent value.

I'm only a few miles along the road from you, if a loan of a rod would help you out for a few weeks then please just ask.

Steady on, my jacket is hanging on a shoogly nail.

I need to be less vociferous in asking questions or it will all end in tears.
