Re: More Advice Needed
In the absence of better, I'll start the ball rolling.
I've never used an Airflo although on this forum, the comment is often made that their floating lines have terrible memory problems but their intermediate and sinking lines are good.
Now, if you are a complete novice or nearly so, the chances are that in the process of learning to cast and fly fish in general, you'll do some damage to the line. Once a line is damaged it can be difficult if not impossible to repair and all you can do is bin it.
For half the price of the Airflo, you can get a good line from the Pitsford Pirate or Barrio on here. If you give them a bell, they'll talk over what you need with you.
John Norris of Penrith also do their own brand of economy lines and their Pro2 lines are on offer at £12.99.
Have a listen to what others have got to say on the subject before you rush into buying a line. When you have some experience, you will be in a better position to decide what line suits your rod (and you) best.
