Default Take the Wife Please

Hi there everybody and Happy new year

right for Christmas far a bit a joke I got the wife a fly fishing tuition from Groupon so yesterday morning in the winds and the gales off we went to Cheshire Fishing for her first and only fly fishing lesson with little enthusiasm.
Now love her to bits but we can argue at 30m when diving so when lesson completed and four hours late after been out in the wind and the rain with no fish I might add she turns round to me and say I enjoyed that I'd like to do that again poof there goes my quiet tranquil days with a rod in my hand!

So been the way a women is see likes to read and study things from a book so the question is what book should she be reading nothing too heavy basics only, so once more a master plan backfires thanks for you replies and

Fatal mistake Moomoo women who take to fishing catch more than their partner.
As you have said if she comes with you you have lost your last bolt hole for peace and quiet.

Assuming we are talking stillwater fishing then she could do alot worse than read this:-

The Pursuit of Stillwater Trout: Amazon.co.uk: Brian Clarke: 9780713614732: Books The Pursuit of Stillwater Trout: Amazon.co.uk: Brian Clarke: 9780713614732: Books

There are plenty of golf books I guess if you wanted to put her off.

my brother took his wife fly fishing ONCE from what he told me....
went fishing , gave her the rod and said cast like this ,,, cloud came over and it started to pour down ( believe they were fishing from a boat ) and my brother stayed out and carried on fishing ,, all that + wife = peed of wife not happy with brother and has no interest in fly fishing ever again lol.

You got it all wrong from the start by taking her to Cheshire Fishing. Far too cushy.
Next time, wait for a real hooley and book a boat on Stocks.

Mind you, if she happens to enjoy that, then you're seriously fooked

I made the mistake of taking my wife fishing in america(she didn,t know one end of the fly rod from the other). Thought it,d keep her quiet so next I know she,s into a big fish-3 pound brownie-only fish of the day. Took her sea fishing-she catches 11 various species-me three. Actually got her to go coarse fishing on the Lea in 1974-finally cracked it-poured down rain and all we caught was colds. She won,t touch any kind of fishing rod now-Thank God!

I outfish the old man and pull the bigger ones out, most of the time. I now have my ADB level one and hope to do level two later in the year! Colinmac, tut tut, you should know better.
