I've read the book and it was the one book I've ever managed to read in a day.
I just couldn't put it down. really enjoyable.
Wasn't sure about the end though. Maybe the film will have a different ending.

Looks good to me.

I thoroughly enjoyed the book.

Voted 'British Comedy of the Year' by Woman and Home. Based on a true story, apparently.

...and just remembered a 1998 short from same star which some of you may remember...stick with it, it IS about fishing and is the only film I like him in other than the famous one in Edinburgh. Might be a little shocking for some folk (under 12s) so go careful...

She would have enjoyed the blossoming love story. The main character's wife was a right b!tch, I hated her.

Embarassingly enough for the first few pages i thought it might have been a true story

Started it; 'hero' far, far too stereotypical, (ala Archer), story preposterous.
