3rd Annual Daniel Murray Age6 Memorial Day 31st March 2012
Well ladies and gents it starts here 1st January already as we try and raise as much as we can for Sheihallion Ward for Terminally ill children at Glasgow's Yorkhill Hospital for Sick Children in Memory of my Nephew Daniel Murray who at the age 3 was diagnoised with cancer losing the battle at the age of 6 yrs old .
So feel free to PM me if you would like to fish on the day or help or just make a donation or hand in a raffle prize.
100% of everything raised goes to this worth while charity that touches almost every family. All the fishing money prizes donations. We take one day out our year and three months fund raising and every penny we can raise goes to help make what time these young kids have left on this mortal plane as good or comfortable as possible.
So if av not chapped your door before look out LOL I will.
In 2010 we raised £1460 in our first event, 2011 £2900 was raised showing how generous everyone in our fantastic sport helped support our Memorial Day not only from all over the United Kingdom but from as far off as North America.
I can only say if you have not fished our Memorial Day get your name down as it leaves a foot print in memory that I am sure everyone will remember not only for the fishing and the banter.
