i got a shakespere expedition rod for christmas and since i am only 13 i am not looking for anyone to critisize on the rod but i am looking for any suggestions on the best reel to match and what weight it should be as the rod is 8/9 any help would be greatly appreciated

Hi Grant, personally, dependant on how much you wish to spend on a reel i would opt for a Vision Koma ,YOU GET A FREE SPARE SPOOL WITH IT AS WELL , i have two myself a6/7 and a 4/5 great reels for the money
