Big thanks to Mike Barrio for offering an excellent follow up service and taking a personal interest in his products, top rate

Completely agree-top man to deal with. Bought a few lines from Mike, had a minor problem with one of them and mentioned it. The replacement arrived first post next morning, no messing around, no sending it back for scrutiny, a breath of fresh air!

That's how service was once...

Chris.

I can vouch for the above, best floating line I have ever used and a line in the post at warp speed. Customer first, profit from sales second, a man with such morals is a rare thing in the fly fishing world....if you're looking for a business partner Mike, I'm your man!

I'd also like to say Ford's fly tying has the same morals....quality products at a brilliant price! Actually phoned me to me to apologise that my order might take a day longer to arrive, AND then when it did I got freebies!

Hats off to both of you...quality and concern about their products, a rare thing.

Totally agree with the above. Must add Phil Holding from the fly tying boutique to this. Another gent who puts service first.

I often see posts from newbies asking what to do next. Talk to any of the three above, that will be a good start. Plenty more traders on here who are honest and straightforward.

Have bought 3 lines from Mike - all excellent value and they look/perform like some lines that cost at least twice as much ! UK designed lines and also made here in the UK too. First rate service and delivery as well. Great informative website too at Fishing The Fly In Aberdeenshire, Scotland

Agree also that Phil Holding provides excellent products and service for an internet mail order based company. However, I would add to the list on an equal parity Chris at Lathkill - he has gone beyond the call of duty for me a couple of times. Lathkill is possibly the most comprehensive fly tying mail order site in the UK ?
