Default Boy can I pick them!!

After being cooped up for Christmas and surrounded by visitors I was determined to go fishing today. It turned out to be a little draughty to say the least.
I fished my nearest water Fylde Trout Fishery and managed just the one fish on a yellow dancer, others had 2-3 fish. I just can't catch on buzzers.
The forecast is for lighter winds tomorrow I may go and torture myself again, if my gear has dried out!

In this weather you did well even to get out It can be a bit windswept at Fylde

I you can't catch on buzzers, you'd better look in on the Lancsy Lads thread. We can't catch on anything

Good luck if you're out tomorrow. Maybe you'd get a bit more shelter at Mere Beck or Bank House.

Respect for getting out. I had a free day today for fishing; either in the Solway for cod ( 40mph on shore winds); Piking on Bassenthwaite (about 55mph coming down the valley); Grayling on the Eden (high water levels and 40mph upstream wind) or chasing elusive chub on the Lyne (flooded). So I watched Mainstream dvds instead and had several alu-packs of fizzy stuff. I will be braver tomorrow.

Hey Bill
I'll have you know on our last trip to Bansfold no one blanked. We're getting worse at blanking soon our reputation will be in pieces.

I agree Alban-I keep going out with full expectations of royally blanking and then proceed to catch-it,s all so embarrassing!

It is FT7 I'm thinking of fishing without a fly in future that way my reputation is assured.
