Default Bratton Fishery

Anyone fished here recently or have any info?
I last fished here about 6 years ago and it was dire, but was thinking of giving it a second chance maybe tomorrow.
Other wise its Blakewell again.

Default Re: Bratton Fishery

Very late response......

Fished Bratton on Tuesday this week, with a mate. Three other guys there, all of which had their 4 fish by early afternoon. We took a little longer! Most of the fish were around the 'far' end and, as far as we were concerned, responded to black and red/silver. Can't vouch for the other guys.

We ended up with almost the bag limit each, but not at all disappointed as I managed a 3lb brownie and my pal a 4lb rainbow on his very last cast! There's no doubt there are good fish in there to be had..

Perhaps not as big as I'd expected, it's still a very pleasant place to fish, once you've negotiated the track down to the farm.....
