Bad Hydro or inappropriately placed wind turbines? neither of these is free , the technology costs millions and brings in huge subsidies for the developers, renewables suck

Please define viable alternatives. And just mind each and everyone of you are contributing to these schemes every time you switch your computers on, unless you all have solar panels fitted.

Where these are situated is almost entirely unapproachable, never mind fishable. The water is returned to the river by the time it reaches fishable areas so we don't really see the difference.

The only thing we do notice is regular small fluctuations in water levels.
