Hi Guys

Next year I am fishing in a competition for pike on a lake. I have done a little fishing in this background but mostly I'm a trout fishing fanatic. So I was hoping that you could advise me on the best flies and were I could get some good quality Pike flies and how is best to approach fishing for Pike.

I used to like fishing because I thought it had some larger significance. Now I like fishing because it's the one thing I can think of that probably doesn't.

Minimum requirements are a 9# rod, and a wire leader at the business end of at least 15", the flies are a doddle to tie or buy some there`s plenty out there.
