Hey folks can anyone recommend a good beginners fly fishing book that covers the basics, from set up to techniques?

Cheers

An older book, The Complete fly Fisher, by Peter Lapsley. Covers most things from casting to flies, (trout/sea-trout/salmon/grayling) river/lough/stillwater fishing, insects, fly dressing, fish management and so on. You should be able to pick it up for a couple of quid at a 2nd hand bookstore, or ebay.

Best regards
Jim

The Sotheby's Guide to Fly-Fishing for Trout by Charles Jardine and The Essential Guide to Fly Fishing by Nick Hart are another two that are well worth a look.
