Hi Mate,
What sort of fly fishing are you thinking of?
River, lake, salt water

Hi I have been lake fishing mostly, live near Indian Queens.
I joined a club early in the year, but not a lot if any success, i have been on the forum chatting with Bill who has been coaching me a bit.
Trethurgy is the club never seen anyone fishing it, its a old clay pit very deep. Have you heard of it ? I have seen trout but never hooked one.
I also popped down to Treemeadows near Hayle but just had a walk around never fished it.
I also sea fish and course fishing.

Regards Saltman

I live near Queens myself, and yes I know Trethurgy it low stocked and not that often, my mate John Penfold is a member but I think he may give it up this year.
Temple is fishing well by all accounts, was chatting with Julian the owner a couple of days ago, He says a 15lb brown came out and several other fish in the 5 to 10lb range.
I not sure how Innis is fishing at the minute.
I would be more then willing to give you all the advice you want and accompany you on a couple of outings.
Bit rough for sea fishing at the minute.
We are planning a trip in January to letchlade and you would be welcome to come along with us.
Feel free to contact me via PM if you want my number.
Mike

Hi Saltman
Long time.
Sorry to hear that you've been struggling. If you've not seen anybody else at your club water - well, makes me wonder

Can't find much information on Treemeadow fishery but one review said that it was a clear, stalking water which might not be the easiest if you've not had much experience so far.

Maybe Marazion Midge could suggest a likely fishery to get going on. Lures will do very nicely at this time of year. You could always try buzzers as well. The best thing to do is to ask at the fishery that you decide on visiting, what is working at the moment.

Good luck and Happy Christmas.
