South Island, somewhere near Te Anau / Omaramau Mossburn/ Lumsden or even Queenstown. Amazing place. I am haunted by teh place!! Gods country.

The best trout fishing you can imagine. can be hard to get work, depending on your background i guess..

Cheers
JJ

a good friend of mine moved there 2 years back.
he lives in a place called bucklands beach, auckland.
he had to come back last month as his mum had passed away so time to catch up.
the way he put it to me was its the same as here except life is a bit slower, education seems better/cheaper(he has 2 in uni), climate is better and their government dont seem to be taking them for every penny they can.
all in all he is loving it. (he is a carpenter and has plenty of work)

You've asked a very broad question... a lot will depend on the type of work you do and your own unique preferences.

Seeing as you have been before, you should have a good idea what you like and you should go with your own instincts. Good luck.

I hope something turns up for ya very soon. New Zealand is a lovely country but there is no place like home. Every second person you meet these days seems to be taking flight. It's a very sad situation, especially at this time of the year.

All I can say is that I hope to God, that something crops up for ya
