Default Need advise on British fly rods

I live in Montreal,Quebec,Canada and do fly fish on occasion. My father was in hunting/fishing sales industry for a long time. He left me in his estate three old fly rods in very good condition. I am curious about the rods and would like someone to suggest their history and a value figure if possible.
First Rod is a Martin James -9' - 3 section- cresting states; British made- Martin James Fishing Rod- A British flag - Then "guaranteed" - Martin James ensignia in white script black/green back ground. scripted in black ink near c- Cork handle is name " Twilton "- Grey cloth case - stitched Martin James -Redditch- very good condition.
Second Rod - Allcocks - 9' - 3 sections - Crested: made in England trademark - 636471- "Popular" - written on bottom near Cork handle - very good condition- brown cloth case - no markings.
Rod Three - Hardy 8 1/2' - 2 sections- appears newer than the others. Written in white script # 6 F/K near handle. Crested " Jet - House of Hardy- Made in Endland- Cork handle- Excellent condition- Blue cloth casing with Hardys-" The worlds angling specialists Alnwick-Eng- Harris and Sheldon group. Thanks for any help. Mitch17

Well I have heard of Hardy and Martin james though not of the other brand. I think the rods were made from1960-1985, my geuss, is they are all cane rods. If I was you I would fish the **** out of those things. I would highley recommend learning to fly fish. You have world class fly fishing in Quebec.

I have Allcocks Popular 9' 3pcs rod with intermediates, the rod is made around 1970 me tnink, it states made in England on the label above the handle. I saw different Allcock rods priced between 100 to 150 GBP. I enjoy fishing mine and replaced the original top and bottom rings with high quality rings, the bottom one is a nice red agate. Dont know about the other rods, probably the Jet will score a bit more in price. Here is my Allcocks:

I have the Hardy Jet. The same model, I bought it to replace a previous one which was lost. Mine too is in excellent condition and I bought it on Ebay for £56. These are still very usable and I use mine in preference to carbon in small overgrown streams as they are tough as old boots and cast very short distances better than most carbon rods.

The other two are both very well known British makes but I don't know the rods. If they are glass fibre then generally they are worth little, there are a couple of exceptions - like short glass fibre rods by Hardy.

The dating code F/K indicates that the Hardy Jet was manufactured by Hardy in Alnwick in June 1970. It's worth about £50 - £70 depending on condition. This guy is an optimist

Fiberglass Hardy Jet models from the 1970s in lighter line weights and shorter lengths are quite desireable for exactly the conditions you state. There seems to be a following in the brook trout areas of the Midwest, Norheast, and Eastern Canada.

I should probably also say that "highly desireable" as it relates to vintage fiberglass rods does not translate into a huge amount of money. I've seen them go up to about $150 for rods in very good condition.

But relative to other brands from the same era, the Hardy Jet does very well.
