
I live in Montreal,Quebec,Canada and do fly fish on occasion. My father was in hunting/fishing sales industry for a long time. He left me in his estate three old fly rods in very good condition. I am curious about the rods and would like someone to suggest their history and a value figure if possible.
First Rod is a Martin James -9' - 3 section- cresting states; British made- Martin James Fishing Rod- A British flag - Then "guaranteed" - Martin James ensignia in white script black/green back ground. scripted in black ink near c- Cork handle is name " Twilton "- Grey cloth case - stitched Martin James -Redditch- very good condition.
Second Rod - Allcocks - 9' - 3 sections - Crested: made in England trademark - 636471- "Popular" - written on bottom near Cork handle - very good condition- brown cloth case - no markings.
Rod Three - Hardy 8 1/2' - 2 sections- appears newer than the others. Written in white script # 6 F/K near handle. Crested " Jet - House of Hardy- Made in Endland- Cork handle- Excellent condition- Blue cloth casing with Hardys-" The worlds angling specialists Alnwick-Eng- Harris and Sheldon group.
