I had a day's casting tuition with Steve Yeomans recently, having never fly fished before. I really enjoyed it and have just ordered my new kit, a very early christmas present to myself

I've gone for a Sage Vantage 9' #6, Sage 2050 reel and a Rio Gold WF6F line. Heading out this weekend to Loynton to try it out, hopefully I'll be taking home something for tea!

Well and truly have the fly fishing bug and aim to target my favourite species, Pike, once i've got the casting nailed.

Glad you enjoyed yourself (and have been well and truly bitten), I came over to this from sea angling last year and have thoroughly enjoyed it
