I see on the news they are pumping water into them due to the water shortage for next year!!!!

We need some rain and lots of it soon to get our ressies back up for next year.

Where will they be pumping water from to raise the level at Stithians? The Kennel river? There's an extraction point at Little Plymouth, half a mile below Stithians village ... if that's the plan then the Kennel will be dry at Ponsanooth!

Dont know where the water for Sithians is coming from but Colliford is getting water pumped up an old emergency pipeline that has only been used a couple of times since Colliford was formed, I think the water is pumped from the lower reaches of the Fowey or Fal, it begins with a F anyway, I read about it in the water reports section in this months T&S.
