Default Fishing in S/E 2012 - will there be any?

Rivers in Herts and Bucks are looking very very poorly. The kings and Queens of rivers in Hampshire are on their knees so to speak.

The reservoirs in the Midlands are now being granted licences to take the last drops from their respective rivers.

Where are we going to fish lads?

Bucket and spade jobs to the seaside and invoke a licence attack by some over enthusiastic minister (whatever party)?

Or

Move North and upset the locals by driving up the prices?

Or

Take up golf?

PS Forgot to say Happy BD to Mr Trout - Happy BD Mr T.

No shortage of water up here. One of Scotland's great natural resources. If you are thinking about coming up here the weather is foul at the moment but the fishing is always great.Click the image to open in full size.Click the image to open in full size.

Same down here in the southwest, our reservoirs are on their knees. Kennick, tottisford and trenchford are so low, wimbleball is so low its awful. The fly life next year is going to be interesting, with all the shallows high and dry.

I had no intention of making light of your water problems, which are very serious. They need to look at more resevoirs and do it now, or all is lost.
