Default The trouble with hardy rods is.....

They are so good they last a lifetime - so you don't buy many!!!
I have a wee 7` favourite rod which is a treasure - 20 years old and like new!!!

Is this why they are in trouble?? Hardy and Greys planning new product launches - Business News - News - nebusiness.co.uk

Had a hard time with them myself this summer. I've been a long time faithful Hardy customer - several thousand pounds over the years. Never again, they are a hard nosed, bloody minded company who really don't give a damn about their customers if my experience is anything to go by.

Malcolm.

I am shocked to hear this................I have found them to be just the opposite. I contacted Alnwick last year to get a replacement rod bag for my Jet which they had specialy made for me for a very reasonable fee. I aked if they could maybe supply me with a tube for same and was sent the new bag in a Hardy tube which came for free. I too have dealt with them for many years and never had a problem. I suppose that with any company you will get ying and yang, I just didn't expect a negative for Hardy.....................birdsnest

...they are too shiny!

(I only use my Hardy rods on very dull days or after sunset.)
