Hi, i currently use a Cairmore Ascent 5/6 wt reel, i like it has been reliable and is light in the hand, im getting a second rod 7/8 wt about 10 ft, was going to buy another Cairmore but an open to advice on others

theres an old saying If it aint broke dont fix it

Get a Caimore Eternal MK2 I've got one and they amazing value.

If they work for you then why change unless you just want to try something else.

Not that many really bad reels out there anymore, much like rods.

Some may be better than others but not too many really poor performers.
