Burslem Izaak Walton (BIWAS) have a good stretch of the lower Dove with barbel, chub, grayling and trout, also the Trent at Kings Bromley, near to where Burton have the quarry lake at Kings Bromley. Only £28/year (I'm a member, in fact on Intro page of the club website if you google it, that's me releasing a big trout caught on dry fly). The fly fishing on the BIWAS Dove can be good during the coarse close season but once the bait starts going in from June 16th onwards it seems harder to get them on the fly. I fish coarse and fly so am happy either way anyway
